Welcome!  I'm glad you're here to learn a little about backroads jewelry co. and the designer/maker behind the creations you'll see on my page.

I was a personal chef and owner of my own catering business for over 10 years.  We then welcomed our 3 children within a 4 year period and quickly realized the demands of catering were too much to stay caught up with adventurous kiddos and a husband who travels for work!  So, my passion and love for jewelry making (I've created jewelry since I was a little girl!) came into play as we made the leap for me to be a stay at home mama.  My kids are my everything, and I am so grateful to get to spend my days with them.  They even helped inspire my jewelry company name...each of them despised the car seat....so we took a LOT of scenic backroads.  We live and play in gorgeous southwest Montana where the backroads are endless, and the scenery is breathtaking.

I thoroughly enjoy creating unique western inspired jewelry that lasts.  Each piece is created by me, a horse lover, mountain adventurer, and outdoor enthusiast.  I carefully source materials from other small shops throughout the USA.  Because, well, I'm proud to be an American and excited to help others build their dreams too.

There's nothing that makes me more excited than seeing my customers wear my signature creations.  Don't be surprised if I see something I made on you and stop to thank you!  We small business owners truly do a happy dance when our customers wear something we spent so much time and thought to create.
